Requirements

  • Class Attendance (in person or by correspondence via Wiziq Video)
  • Enrollment in two or more Electives
  • Completion of monthly reading assignments and written work
  • Contribution to one group worship service
  • Participation in one group volunteer service project
  • Participation in ongoing study groups
  • Participation in email communication
  • Participation in Buddy and Mentor programs
  • Participation in Interfaith Temple (attending students only)
  • Participation in in-class practicum (attending students only)
  • Final Individual Minister’s Service Manual
  • Intensive Residential Retreat
  • Final oral examination by the Seminary’s Board of Accreditation

Upon successful completion of the Second Year and fulfillment of the student’s tuition obligation, students are graduated from The New Seminary and ordained as Interfaith Ministers. They are then eligible to become legally recognized and, where applicable, registered as clergy.
