In the wake of the challenges of a global pandemic and societal upheavals, Executive Director, The Very Rev. Dr. Jay Speights saw the need to restore the temple services online this past spring, to provide an uplifting, and safe space for people around the globe to receive spiritual support.

Led by a ministry team with diverse faiths, backgrounds, and callings, and a shared vision of a “come as you are and as you believe” interfaith approach, we are excited to share that these services can now be attended virtually!

The Interfaith Temple, the ordaining body of The New Seminary, is the spiritual home for these services.  Senior Minister Rev. Dr. Stacy Goforth (’11) and her team of fellow seminary alumni, Rev. Dr. Victor Fuhrman (’97), Rev. Dr. Samora Smith (’08), Rev. Dr. Maven Eve (’20), along with current seminary students and special guests, combine their inspired gifts and talents to honor the corresponding interfaith holidays and spiritual themes for each service.  The services include original music, poetry, heart-centered readings, guided meditations, kinship, and compassionate messages. The temple offers  Circles of Love (bereavement, relationships, prayer, intention, etc.) and empowering workshops offered by Associate Ministers and seminary students.
